Our Fun Run/Walk for Wellness event started as a staff event hosted by our Wellness Committee. Over the years, it has grown into a community wide event hosted by St. Joseph's Foundation of San Joaquin that draws 500-600 participants and volunteers. Each year, the Fun Run/Walk donates all proceeds to St. Joseph's Medical Center for a specific need, keeping all donations local to the Stockton community.
Funding through the years:
2010 - 2013: Over $100,000 to support the CareVan Mobile Clinic 2014 - 2016: Nearly $150,000 to help fund the Cardiac Hybrid Suite 2017: More than $55,000 to help expand the Emergency Room 2018 - 2021: More than $266,000 to help replace St. Joseph's Cancer Institute's Linear Accelerator 2022: $71,000 to support St. Joseph's Cancer Institute 2023: Goal is to raise funds for St. Joseph's Cancer Institute's Trident HD Breast Specimen Imaging System
